Emergency First Aid

This is the standard 1-day course (complies with HSE regulations) covering basic first aid skills including CPR for adult, child, baby and use of a defibrillator. You will learn basic bleed control using dressings and discuss the ways to treat burns and bone injuries. We find our delegates enjoy this course and feel their time spent, has been worthwhile.

First Aid at Work

This is the 3-day course covering more in-depth 1st aid knowledge e.g. heart attack, stroke, anaphylaxis. There are scenarios to work through, quizzes and verbal questions which form part of your overall assessment. It is in-depth but we are there to guide you. We hope to make your 3 days an enjoyable but worthwhile experience. Our feedback supports this. It is possible to re-qualify after 3 years by taking a special 2-day course. Next FAW 16th – 18th Nov 2026
Re-qualification course 14th & 21st Sept – Thetford

Paediatric First Aid

This 2-day course is designed for those who work with children in Early Years settings or schools. It covers adult resuscitation as well as child and baby, meaning the first aider can offer assistance to colleagues if required. Childhood conditions are covered, as well as use of adrenaline pens. With 2 days you have more time to practise the hands-on stuff! Our delegates give very positive feedback and return for their updates every 3 years. Next course planned for 21st & 22nd Sept

Emergency First Aid at School

We provide this training course for many schools in Norfolk and Suffolk. This 1-day course is suitable for all staff working in a school environment. It has additional topics pertinent to working with school students e.g. seizures, anaphylaxis and asthma. Basic life support is covered for all ages and use of an AED and adrenaline pens. Recent feedback: “Informative course with an enthusiastic, knowledgable tutor”; “Excellent delivery of the course. Thoroughly enjoyed time…”

We now offer a one hour course to schools so that all staff can learn about the new Benedict’s Law. Our training will provide hands-on use of the devices (training versions) and an opportunity to ask questions, in order to provide the confidence to act if an Anaphylaxis situation arises in your school.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid

The 1-day course in Emergency Paediatric First Aid complies with Ofsted/Sure Start and HSE guidelines and is ideal for other members of staff who do not need the full 2-day certificate. This course teaches basic first aid skills so that all who hold the qualification will be able to deal with the basics of choking and loss of breathing in a child or baby but also covers adult resuscitation. This course is often run for infant and nursery schools.
